On the night of Mr. Melvyn's murder, Loïc was servicing a customer in one of the booths of the Boom Boom Bar. He was trying not to think about the time he had done alongside Earl in the state pen.     He also didn't want to think about the fact that he'd just popped some punk in the alley beside the bar.    Instead he tried to focus on his new band, which was destined to shoot him & his buddy Stitches to REM-like status. He'd always fancied himself the Michael Stipe-type.     So he was really focused when he left the booth, discovered a body in the neighbouring booth and was promptly arrested by his customer, who turned out to be an undercover detective.
