On the night of Mr. Melvyn's murder, Chicky was feeling really good about himself. Earlier on he'd managed to snag a purse off some woman he'd seen on the street. It turned out that the purse contained a couple of tickets for the big fight, which a friend of his had been happy to buy off him for a large sum.    Too bad then, that on his way home, he was brutally killed by one of Mr. Earl's hired goons.
